This exhibit was on display from February 1, 2007 – February 28, 2007
In honor of Black History Month, this exhibit celebrates the contributions of African American authors to English literature. Learn about the accomplishments of Maya Angelou, James Baldwin, Richard Wright, Jupiter Hammon and more. On the side wall, an exhibit called “Milestones in African American Education” traces the timeline of blacks’ struggle for equal treatment in the American education system.


This free exhibit is viewable during regular library hours.
