Masonry Repair Work to Begin on Butler Library

The college is about to begin the second phase of a project to repair deteriorated masonry at several buildings, including Butler Library. Temporary fencing will be set up to separate work areas from pedestrian traffic. Work will include asbestos abatement, replacement of sealants at exterior masonry and window joints, re-pointing of brickwork, brick replacement, and concrete repair.

The front book drop will not be in service during this time, however, the book drop in the back of the library on the loading dock will remain available. Work is scheduled to be finished by mid-November.
