“Reference Room” Renamed “Information Commons”

The area formerly known as the Reference Room is now called Information Commons. The new name better reflects our vision for this area, as a place where campus information and technology resources are brought together in one convenient location.

Don’t worry, the reference books are still here, and so is the computer lab! But we have just added an Application Support Desk to help students, faculty, and staff with software-related questions. This desk also handles our Equipment Loan service. And the Computing Help Desk will continue to provide assistance with other computing issues, such as logins, passwords, share drives, and the like.
